Jesse and Kristyn | Davis Wedding Photographer

“Jesse proposed during a trip to the east coast to visit family right before Christmas. We were in Boston visiting his sister and Jesse and I went to the Boston Commons, a beautiful park near downtown. It is famous for its willow trees and having swan boats in the summer. I had actually been there as a little girl, but Jesse didn’t know that. It had snowed the day before and everything was beautiful and quiet. Jesse and I walked over a bridge and down a path and sat on a bench by the frozen water taking everything in. After a little bit we started to walk back to the bridge, but Jesse had to stop to “tie his shoe”. He started to propose, but I did not believe him (one of Jesse’s favorite things to do is to prank me and make me believe outrageous stories). Once he pulled out the ring I knew he wasn’t kidding and, of course, said yes!” – Kristyn

Jesse, what do you LOVE about Kristyn?

“What I love about Kristyn is that she’s so easy to talk to and that she makes me laugh everyday. She’s beautiful but also not afraid to be silly and let go sometimes.”

Kristyn, what do you LOVE about Jesse?

“I love how silly he can be. He makes me laugh and feel loved everyday. He is incredibly kind and thoughtful. He thinks he has a tough exterior, but anyone who knows him knows that is not the case. I love that he challenges me to be a better person. I love that we can have a fun time together even when doing silly, mundane things around the house. Plus, he is an AWESOME dancer.”

What are some of your favorite things to do together?

“We like riding bikes together and going for hikes. Oh, and drinking beer ūüôā “

Looking forward to your beautiful day this August, Jesse and Kristyn!
