“We were doing a road trip through Oregon for our 6th year anniversary. On day 4 we arrived in Pacific City and stayed at a cute little inn where we took a short easy hike nearby to enjoy the forest and beach scenery. The next morning before we were going to leave, we decided to go on another hike in that same area before we went to get breakfast. Little did I know, he had the ring to propose. As we came to a clearing from the forest that allowed us beach access with no one in site, he dropped down on one knee and had me turn around. I had absolutely no idea and he caught me so off guard! He asked me to marry him and placed the perfectly sized ring on my chubby altitude swollen finger!! Needless to say some tears were shown, smiles were an all day thing, and I couldn’t stop staring at the ring and him as I couldn’t believe it!”
