Four weeks ago I received an email from my friend Hettie. This letter was from the heart and a portion of it read, “My dear friend Erica was engaged this last year but has not been able to plan her wedding due to her mother falling ill with a terminal illness. Erica has spent the majority of her free time taking care of her sisters, father and mother. Mom has taken a turn for the worst and Erica has about three weeks to pull off a wedding so that her mother will have the privilege to watch her daughter be married….I want nothing more than to give my best friend the opportunity to have a wedding with her mother present.”
First of all, I cannot imagine loosing my mom at such a young age and second after reading Hettie’s letter, it didn’t matter what I had on the schedule that Friday, I was going to be there. I told Erika over the phone that day, “God, gives us valuable gifts and it’s a blessing to use them to enrich others in a time of need!”
Isn’t Erika beautiful?

Momma and Erika.
I have to tell you that during the formal pictures with Erika’s mom, I choked up a bit. Words cannot express the love that was present. Amazing.
I adore this one
William and Erika, I am so thankful to have been part of your beautiful wedding day. Sweet love and blessings to you and your family.
