“After more than a year of COVID-related cabin fever, we booked an impromptu trip to Maui set for mid-August 2021. This was Jose’s first trip to Hawaii so we were sure to make the quick trip a memorable one. We started the trip off with a couple’s massage, explored many beaches and local restaurants, snorkeled at Molokini Crater, and enjoyed a sunset luau cruise. On the morning of our last full day in Maui, we set off for our usual morning stroll along the beach outside of our condo in Kahana. The beach was empty and we were just enjoying the view of Moloka’i. While we were looking out at the ocean, Raquel noticed Jose’s shadow had moved and she turned to see him on one knee with a ring in hand asking her to marry him. Of course the answer was an immediate yes followed by lots of happy tears!”

“We’re big on sports so we love attending San Francisco Giants or Pittsburgh Steelers games. We love to go to breweries or wineries together and love spending as much time by the ocean as possible.”
