“…Kurt, I promise to continue to be your loving and faithful wife in good times and bad in sickness and in health. To support you in the decisions you make for our family. I promise to pray with you often. I vow to daily make you feel special and loved in my actions and I promise to laugh at your jokes more often even if they are ridiculously dry…”
“… and to you our sweet children: Mommy promises to love you forever, in the good times and the bad. I promise to be supportive and there for you always. To give you hugs and kisses when your sad and rejoice with you in all you accomplish. Always remember that Daddy and Mommy will always be here for you, loving you, supporting you and protecting you. We will always pray together and rely on God in all we do. We are the Rummel family and will always be, till the end of time.” – Mariea (bits and pieces of my vows)
“… Mariea, I vow to love you and cherish you. To hold you up and support you in all you endeavors. To keep you feeling and knowing you’re special and to get you flowers more often.
“Boo” and “Bubba”, when you came in to Mommy and Daddy’s life, when I first held each of you in my arms, you changed me and challenged me to be the best Daddy I could be. I vow to you both to be there for you, to listen and to hug, to keep you safe and warm and to teach you and learn from you.
Mariea, “Boo” and “Bubba” you are my everything, I love each of you so much.” – Kurt (bits and pieces of his vows)
Our family then encircled us and blessed our marriage with sweet words of wisdom, love and prayers.
We tied our vows and the heartfelt prayer my second Daddy had written to a piece of drift wood and tossed it into the ocean.
My gorgeous sister, Amber sang a beautiful Hawaiian prayer…
just a portion of our amazing family!
Our ceremony and photos were taken on Waialea Bay Beach by the talented Tahiti of Tahiti Huetter Photography.
Dress was designed by Beulah. Hair by my beautiful Momma, Vivian.
I am blessed… I do know this.
What an amazing celebration it was to renew our vows. I am so proud to share my family and the love that Kurt and I have together with you.
