James and McKenzie
Shortly after I documented McKenzie’s senior portraits, she met James at her high school graduation.
“It was so awkward. We didn’t know each other but our parents became friends in the crowd and had us exchange numbers.” – McKenzie
Fast forward, a few weeks after I documented McKenzie’s college graduation portraits, James PROPOSED after her grad ceremony!
As they stood in front of her college sign for a photo op, James got down on one knee and said, “We met at one graduation. Will you marry me at the next?”
“I love her humor and her personality. I love how we can work together with each other and we know when to let the other take over. I love her family and how caring they are. I love that we just seem to fit together.”
“I love his protective nature and that I always feel safe with him. I love that he is so loving and goofy with me, yet can be serious and be my shoulder to cry on.”
