The Proposal
“Natalie is from Minnesota and is a huge Minnesota Twins fan. She had told Steven that Target Field is her favorite place in the world. This summer we took a trip to Minnesota to see some of Natalie’s family. Steven and Nat’s dad had pulled some strings and got us on the field for batting practice. Steven handed Natalie a baseball that said, “Will you marry me?” and got down on one knee. Then Natalie’s family surprised us and we spent the evening seeing the baseball game.”
“I love that Natalie is fun to be around. Her personality is amazing in that she is always willing to help someone and put them first. She is athletic, smart, loving, kind, and competitive. I think we make a great team and I love that she will be a great mother to our children.”
“I truly think Steven is my other half. He is the best teammate, best friend, coach, boyfriend I could ever ask for. We always have fun together even if we are just at home watching TV. He let’s me truly be myself and he loves me for who I really am. He encourages me to chase after my dreams and to never settle. I have been with Steven since I was 19 so I feel like he has helped me grow up and I really look up to him. I love that I always feel safe and protected when I am with Steven.”
“Just being together. Doing something active, having good food, and good drinks. We love being around family, but we also love just heading up to the breweries in Auburn and just relaxing together.”
