Travis and Brooke
“We spent the weekend visiting Travis’ sister in Boston where we had an amazing time filled with great food, historical monuments and of course, the famous “Cheers” bar. The Proposal – We started the night out with a nice dinner at The Capital Grille. Travis knew I wanted at least one date night with him while we were in one of the most romantic cities in America, so I didn’t think much of it when he told me to dress up a little for dinner. Meanwhile behind the scenes, a whole plan was in motion – Travis’ sister Melissa was coordinating with the secret photographer and prepping the rooftop where Travis would get down on one knee and ask me to be his wife. After dinner, we went back to Melissa’s apartment and decided to head up to the rooftop to “take some pictures.” We had already been up there earlier in the weekend and the views were so spectacular, so again I didn’t think much of anything when he suggested we go up to take pictures and watch the sunset. We walked out onto the roof just as the sun was setting over Downtown Boston and the Charles River. In front of the breathtaking sunset was something even more special – a string of lights saying, “Be My Wife?” I turned around to Travis down on one knee and essentially blacked out after that. I don’t remember much other than saying YES! (Finally, am I right?)” – Brooke
I love everything about her. I love the way she makes me a better man. She puts her heart and soul into making everyone around her the best version of themselves. She’s hardworking, empathetic, loving, and honest. She’s not afraid to push a little in order get big results. I love her for always being there for me and supporting me in everything I do.”
